Hike

There’s nothing like getting off the grid. We’ve done some epic hikes as a family. Most of our favorites are in Oregon’s Central Cascades, but there’s plenty of hiking more local to us in the Adirondack and Catskill ranges, too.

Strava’s heat map feature is pretty great for visualizing hikes we’ve done, and serves as a decent backdrop for the hike posts below.

Of course, we do keep Taughannock Falls State Park’s rim and base trails–and Black Diamond–central features in our heat map.

We invariably hike in the Mount Hood National Forest when we travel to Oregon.

The Three Sisters around the Bend area in Central Oregon is also a happy hiking place!
